I am not new to yoga. But I have never experienced a teacher like Nadia. Her depth of knowledge, empathy, ability to demonstrate the postures and insane! flexibility are exemplary. However, it is her deep attunement to the core teachings of yoga and genuine interest in meeting each student where they are that inspire and make each session with her an opening into oneself. I used to be super-aerobic, playing high school and college lacrosse as well as pickup ‘Y’ basketball, when I was younger, then jogging frequently, playing tennis and hiking in the Rockies as I got older. Somewhere, somehow something damaged my lungs (doctors don’t know why) and I get easily winded when exercising, especially in the Colorado mountains, where we live half the year.
A year or so ago, I started working with Nadia on Yoga breathing exercises. Although they won’t heal my lungs, they’ve made a major difference in helping me breath more fully, deeply and efficiently, while helping me recover quicker when winded. Altho I’ve never been one for routines, I now spend 20-30 minutes every morning practicing my breathing techniques.
Nadia has even convinced me to adapt a few Yoga exercises – which I don’t especially enjoy – but realize they help my flexibility, alignment and posture.

Turkey Wellness retreat May ‘25 I went to this retreat with no precise expectations. I only knew I wanted to bring something home with me. A learning, an insight, a practice…I came home with much more! Indeed I came home with Nadia’s super detailed explanation of how to do every pranayama and asana right for maximum benefit (I discovered muscles in my body I wasn’t so aware of :), but I also came back with so many laughs, some tears, deep conversations and hopefully lasting connections. I came home with all I needed.

Turkey Wellness Retreat May 2025: A Transformative Experience The Turkey Wellness Retreat exceeded all my expectations! Initially, I anticipated a focus solely on breathing, yoga, and meditation, but this journey profoundly reshaped my understanding of wellness.
Under Nadia’s expert guidance, I discovered the power of quieting my mind through breathwork and the importance of slowing down to fully engage with each movement in every asana. Her calm demeanor, patience, and personalized attention helped me maximize my practice and deepen my connection to myself.
The retreat also emphasized the significance of forging new bonds and stepping outside our comfort zones as essential components of well-being. Nadia’s vibrant energy fostered a supportive atmosphere, transforming our group into a close-knit community of friends. We laughed together, shared experiences, and uplifted one another throughout the retreat.

Nadia’s Turkey Wellness retreat was everything I didn’t know I needed. I thought the yoga and pranayama portion would be an easy, light and gentle flow. But Nadia taught pranayam and yoga in a way that I had never experienced. She was grounded and present and guided us to instinctively be grounded and present as well – in each inhale and exhale and in each asana. We went deep, finding our edge, our alignment, and ultimately ourselves in our breaths and poses. Nadia gave her all and worked individually with each one of us with so much kindness, patience and love. Her energy was contagious and created a beautiful synergy and bond between all the attendees that I’m sure will only continue and deepen. What an experience…Thank you Nadia! You are a gifted teacher and a beautiful soul.

I have been practicing yoga on and off for over 20 years, but it wasn’t until I started learning from Nadia 1.5 years ago that my practice truly transformed. Not only is Nadia knowledgeable and skilled, but she also has an ability to observe and correct subtle details in postures that my previous instructors had overlooked.
